The Apache Etch project developed also some tools to work with the Etch framework. Following you can find more about these.

Wireshark Etch Tracing¶

The Wireshark plugin for Etch uses compiler-generated files to disassemble the wire protocol (.ewh files). In the Wireshark Etch plugin preferences (Edit -> Preferences -> Protocols -> Etch), you can specify a path to your generated .ewh files and you will get your specific analyzed and displayed directly in Wireshark. The plugin is available in Wireshark since version 1.5.0.
